Where it all began…
Due to my allergies to synthetic ingredients and harsh preservatives in most cosmetics, I embarked on extensive research and trials with bees and their products. This journey led to the creation of Simply Bee, a range of natural, organic products for both body and home.
Our beehives are located in the Fynbos-rich areas around Hopefield, free from commercial farming, ensuring our honey, beeswax, and propolis are 100% organic. Our bees are not used for commercial pollination, avoiding chemical exposure, and our hives are badger-friendly.
We support local suppliers by sourcing carrier and essential oils from reputable local companies. Starting with just five products, our line has expanded to over 120 due to public demand, including body lotions, hand creams, foot balms, ointments, shampoos, soaps, facial products, and polishes.
The secret to our effective products lies in using natural ingredients and processes that maximise purity without damaging the ingredients. Natural ingredients are not only effective but also environmentally friendly and beneficial to overall well-being. They work in harmony with the body, providing wholesome nutrients.
I oversee the manufacturing process to ensure minimal processing, preserving the natural benefits of the ingredients. Simply Bee now has over 450 stockists in South Africa and exports to Zimbabwe, Namibia, England, USA, New Zealand, Netherlands, and Mauritius. We are committed to sustainable and responsible beekeeping.
